Dr. Wazir Karamat Hussain

About Him

Dr Wazir Karamat Hussain is a graduate of the prestigious institute King Edward Medical University. During his academic career, apart from being a brilliant student, he actively participated in different projects based on Counseling Services and spreading awareness among individuals regarding various physical and mental health. He completed his foundation year training at Mayo Hospital Lahore, where he learned all the skills regarding patient management and coordination. Currently, he is providing his services in Willing Ways Islamabad as a resident medical officer. He works to provide direct care to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse by managing, counselling and providing education to them. He is involved in individual/family sessions and treatment planning. He also collaborates with other team members to develop a patient plan of care based on ongoing patient assessment. Dr Wazir is a patient friendly doctor determined to play his part in helping individuals to stay away from drugs and achieve their future goals with a healthy mind and body.
