Dr. Hamza Noor

Dr. Hamza Noor is a Consultant Psychiatrist and Director at Willing Ways Islamabad, with more than 15 years of experience in General Adult Psychiatry, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Consultation-Liaison and De-addiction Psychiatry.

He completed his MBBS from Army Medical College, Rawalpindi, followed by FCPS in Psychiatry. His postgraduate psychiatric training was undertaken at the Armed Forces Institute of Mental Health (AFIMH), Rawalpindi. He also successfully cleared the Member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists (MRCPsych) examinations in 2023, reflecting his commitment to internationally recognized standards of psychiatric knowledge and practice.

Dr. Hamza has particular professional expertise in De-addiction psychiatry, as well as the management of a broad range of psychiatric conditions. His clinical work includes the assessment and treatment of individuals with substance use disorders involving opioids, alcohol, cannabis, amphetamines, and other psychoactive substances, including patients with complex psychiatric and psychological difficulties associated with and without substance use.

In addition to his clinical work, he has a strong interest in evidence-based psychiatric practice and clinical research. He has conducted a single-blind randomized controlled trial and completed his postgraduate dissertation based on this research.
